Blogpost #4 Making Connections.

I will be making connections to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to the the Star Wars trilogy. Despite being from opposite genres, (Sci-Fi and Fantasy) they are very alike. The story starts with our hero outside of "his" world. In the case of Luke Skywalker, he's stuck as a farmer on Tatoonine. For Harry, he's stuck with his muggle uncle and aunt in Privet Drive. Luke is forced (because of the Empire's evil) to go to Aldeeran with Obi-Wan Kenobi, and become a Jedi. Harry is saved by the Weasley family, who take him to their house to see the Quidditch World Cup. Luke goes to Aldeeran, and finds out the Empire have destroyed it, while Harry and the Weasleys are attacked by Death Eaters at the World Cup. As their stories go on, they both repeatedly escape from their enemies, but in the end, must face the antaigonist.

  2. Good connection! Most people wouldn't consider these two characters similar because of how different their worlds are, but when you look deeper you start to uncover thier similarities.
